I really like how they subtly show how truly good Eiki is in this chapter. Despite being famously harsh on sinners, she reminds Reimu that people are innocent until proven guilty and her first instinct is to believe Hecatia had the best intentions.
Shiki Eiki is one of the most underappreciated Touhou characters despite being by far the most virtuous character in the entire series.
