@Serkket Presumably it'll be revealed at some point, but he may just be embarrassed by how touchy-feely his mom is and how she calls him like he's a little boy.

@Serkket He's a teenager, and she's his somewhat doting/clingy parent. Lashing out due to embarrassment. Kind of a form of being tsundere when you think about it, I guess, since he probably still loves his mom.
