About scanlation of very old mangas

Hello, I am now working on the translation of Super Aleste. This was an old, obscure single-volume manga from 1993. This manga has long been out of print, so reading the rules it seems it could be fine to upload the original japanese version too. However, just to be sure I first want to ask the staff here if this would be OK.

I can't quite put my finger on it, but something about the catlike-eyes on X's face in your profile picture just feels unsettling to me.

I know, this is from one of my old Megaman X drawings.
I tried to follow the helmet's shape, but in MMX art normally the eyes just go under the helmet.

Current rules do not allow uploading of any raws, defined as publication in the original language, regardless of whether it is out of print or not.

Scanlations based on it would be fine though.
