Also known as "Lujon", Henry Mancini released "Slow Hot Wind" on the 1961 soundtrack album "Mr. Lucky Goes Latin" for the TV show "Mr. Lucky".
You may also recognize it from the soundtrack for the films The Big Lebowski, Sexy Beast, W.E., or Two Lovers, in which it was featured.
The name comes from the instrument the Lujon (which you can read more about at the link below), and I suppose also after the slow, hot vibe it gives off while listening to it.
