Also, why is the MC lying? He didn't use violence first... we can clearly see the other guy throw the first punch in the previous chapter.
He just connected his fist to the other guy face quicker.

Assuming they did call the cops, the kids just run away while the cops are 5 - 10 minutes from ever arriving. Best solution is to scare the dumb kids who don't yet know that calling the cops really does jack all in the real world.
