Allow filtering the new chapters box :planned:

It would be nice to be able to filter the newest chapter box on the front page, so it's easier to spot potentially interesting series among the clutter. At the moment you only have the thumbnail and name to go on, and being able to filter it so it shows only new uploads for specific genres, for example, would be helpful.
Especially new one shots get buried very easily right now.

@Plykiya Oh, I understood that as being site wide exclusion.
I just wanted to filter the front page, as in making it possible to have multiple different feeds to follow for new releases, like those you would have on genre-specific sites. (Like, getting a feed of all new stories with isekai, or yaoi or whatever.)
I apologise if that overlaps to much with the exclusion mechanic.

Having multiple different "feeds" of sorts was suggested before as well. We shot it down at first but if enough people suggest it, we'll probably find a place to put it. Maybe we'll use the latest updates page so we avoid cluttering the front page.

It would be awesome to filter genres in the latest update thing. That would mean the end for yaoi! No more traps! No more clicking "because it doesn't look like a penis in the thumbnail"!

If active filtering on a user basis is to much trouble, maybe taking an approach similar to news sites would work. So you'd have some riders for the most popular genres, like instead of "Politics|Sports|Economy" you'd have for example "Fantasy|Romance|Action" or something similar. That would allow for some more specialised browsing, though it probably won't get people like whiny-kun up above from complaining.
