Arago has special abilities on his right hand, he can separate any kind of objects/living being he touched into pre-stage combination that used to save Chief's daughter who become Chimera by villain because of his inhuman ability that he can combine anything he wants into mass weapon of destruction on cellular level (meaning IMPOSIBBLE to remove by any means).

What Yukina request is she beg his father not to KILL Selka because she already become Gram which is IMPOSSIBLE to separate her or save her due special condition occured even with Kuroko's Link Cut skill (that priest using living being into a host of his monster creation) and his father want to end her life to prevent same incident happened again

As for what happened in last few panels is the FLASHBACK of chapter 1 where she is want become selfish JUST ONCE for saving Selka
