The current search option is tedious. To find new things to read, you have to not only select genres you like, but you are also hardwired to select original language and demographic. Not only it limits what interesting titles you can find based on origin country, but also on the targeted demographic.
Which, on one hand makes sense, but on the other hand, not so much.
First, if you want to just search the genres you like, you are screwed with checking three languages and four different demographic each time to see a different search results. Which is honestly not fun, if you ask me.
Second, why is it hard wired to be chosen? It doesn't sound like it's hard to make a search without those additional criteria.
All in all, while it can be useful, it can easily hold you back from finding interesting titles, which is not useful at all.
I know there is Mangaupdates for such purposes, but it would be nice to read and search on one platform.
