well, i was thinking it'd be a situation that would end up in shared custody at best but I guess this author doesn't want that kind of ending? What's the point of ripping her away from her mother? Of course the child has just as much say in what should happen but I don't buy it. It's not like she was treated badly by her mom. She was loved and fed. Compared to a dead beat father who betrayed his sick kid for a toy is it even worth the comparison? Yeh a lot has happened since then and she has truly come to love her father who she's idolized for a long time, but this isn't how the issue should be resolved. Nozomi continues to be made into some awful antagonist for whatever reason by saying those awful things when she's been suffering just as much. No, she's probably suffered the most. ah well
