@Niconicoknee remember the 3rd dragon where his wind is canceled by out MC aura? spread onto the building. So what I'm saying is I think he can cancel time magic by just spreading some of his aura.

Aside from the obvious plot --armor-- weapon brute-forcing, the only way to triumph over time-(space) based power is to go two steps ahead than your enemy. That is, tricking them into believing that what they're doing is the winning move, but it actually the wrong move for them.

Here's hoping the latter is what happened.
