How to start a comment thread on a chapter

So of course if someone's already commented on a chapter I can click the little speech bubble on the chapter to get to the comments, but how do comment on a specific chapter if nobody else has before me? There's no link for me to click, and right clicking does nothing.

Click on the green button and then should stand there "start comment thread"

Resurrecting an old thread....but I don't see that interface on my Mangadex view. The entire box that contains the green comments button is simply not on my screen. I notice it has the little 'x' in the top right corner to close it. I wonder if I closed it and simply don't know how to reopen it.

That's the deprecated legacy reader that very few people use these days. You're on the default reader now.
