Mangadex was created to replace old Batoto, which was a safe-for-work site, but adding hentai & turning it into an adult website means not everyone can use it even if they want to. Mangadex currently has 2 disadvantages to other sites like Kissmanga:
A. It is blocked for some people due to porn content
B. It doesn't have any chapters from groups that don't allow re-hosting.
I know B can't be helped but A can be fixed and that leads to my suggestion. It's also unrealistic to expect everyone to know, have or use a VPN all the time & a permanent solution is needed because...
1. Lolicon/shotacon hentai is considered child porn and illegal in a lot of countries.

There's a good reason why the biggest h-manga site, E-hentai, separates the lolicon/shotacon & other extreme content to Exhentai, which is a little harder to access. So I'm surprised why admin thought it would be a good idea to mix them all here.
There were also several cases of people outside Japan who got into trouble with the law for possession of lolicon hentai so those who don't want to leave a record of using a site that hosts it for any potential problem it may cause will have to use other safer aggregate sites.
2. Removing lolicon/shotacon h-manga from mangadex will not completely solve the problem. Access is still limited for:
- schools that block adult sites
- parents of underage users that block 18+ sites at home
- work places that blocks porn
- wifi in public places that block porn
- etc.
The number of people affected by this will only increase bec hentai here isn't obvious to non-members so most porn filters haven't caught on yet. In my case, I started getting blocked sometime in April.
Old Batoto didn't have this problem. It had lesser features but at least everyone could use it. All the improvements made here is meaningless to those who can't.
If admin is completely against the idea of making a separate site for hentai, then a compromise would be to allow content that is on E-hentai but exclude the more extreme/controversial stuff on Exhentai (bestiality,guro,lolicon,shotacon,etc) to greatly reduce the number of people getting blocked.
And being blocked sucks for those who don't care about hentai and just want to read regular manga. I hope my suggestion won't be ignored bec this is a problem that affects a lot of people.
