Wiki guidelines for genres and tags :rejected:

So this has been brought up several times before, but I don't think there's been a dedicated thread to the idea yet.

There have been cases where works were mistagged/miscategorized/misgenred because of misunderstandings/disagreements regarding what the tags/genres actually mean. So, it would be nice to have a tag wiki that clearly defines all of their meanings. Perhaps in the style of Stack Exchange tag wikis:

There's a suggestion about separating genre and community tags. If this gets implemented, then the guidelines would need to be clear about what counts as a genre vs what counts as a community tag.
