However, I have never pretended to be Japanese for the sake of tricking people into reading my manga.
I write the manga in Japanese so I can post it on Pixiv, where the primary target audience is native Japanese speakers. I then translate the script to English, which also isn't my mother language, so I can upload to MangaDex.

if you're worried about my art being bad, don't worry, I know that better than anyone else. But that's exactly why I keep striving to be better. Just check out chapter 6 and compare with the first one, it's leagues better. I also revamped the character designs, so they should be more aesthetically pleasing from chapter 7 onward.

And by the way, Ryuugamine Ryuuto is just a pen name I chose to submit my past entries to Young Magazine back when I started, years ago. Feel free to mock it over how over the top it sounds, that's exactly why I chose that alias.

I am working on character models at the moment, to make sure they look visually appealing, their designs reflect their personalities and to make sure everything stays in model going forward.

I understand my art looks pretty amateurish, but there's only one way I can improve, and that is by continuing to draw. Keep an eye out for the following chapters, and if you think there's a specific thing I can improve on, make sure to voice in the comments, I read all of them.
