"chocolate??" shes not even that dark lmao
Is this the Japanese idea of "dark"?
Past Dark Spirit King: "I blessed a Hero!"
Past Light Spirit King: "I blessed a nanny to clean up after the people who led a man to suicide"

Man, the people of this story make me soo mad disregarding the whole part of the myth where the guy was THE Hero and only turned on them when they abandoned him.
Honestly I came to ignore all "villainess"/"otome"/"novel" Isekai but this one makes me reconsider that stance a bit. It's refreshingly good
show of hands, how many think this storyline is going to be a reverse of the pre-isekai "fantasy" novel, where Claudia is going to end up slaying the deluded twit of light, whom, might I add, Is acting suspiciously like novel Claudia while actual Claudia is acting more like a more solemn novel light blessed.

And where is the light spirit king in all of this? did he take off when he realized how much he screwed up in his choice?
    Those parents are the worse!
I wwuuuuuvv Claudia solo much... She's reeeaaally strong.. I cried a lot whenever she goes through so much depressing things.... I hate her mother for not treasuring her child... She should've helped her cope up with her sadness
Reading this after I read Villainess Level 99. I'm still at ch.2 but I'm not liking this as much. Hopefully it gets better in the later chapters.
We all know that war wasnt as easy to deal as in this latest chapter, but since this is shoujo manga and isekai, its understandable.
3-4 chapters of war scene, the shortest war ever 😂
I wonder why does or choclate girl doesn't just say "Watashi wa Sakura" or the past tense of that in japanese... that may be able to do a good thing for the "heroine" or at least they may be able to come to an agreement on something.
Preach @mistressdarkness!!! I second and would happily slap the parents into regaining their sense ☺️
Aaaaw she's so cuuute, I really hope for the best for her and all her friends, I'm kinda worried for prince Levi as well since in the game he apparently didn't appear after some time I think ?
Anyway, it's really great and I'm thankful for your always wonderful translations Haha, thanks a lot for your hard work and all the efforts put into these scanlations ~~
ugh i still cant deal with these parents, i wish she moves to a better household with caring parents :/ she deserves it
The parents actually infuriate me. I don't think I'll ever be sympathetic.

I mean even if, and it's a giant IF, i take their logic, i still can't fit it. I mean the reason the kingdom was destroyed was due to the people leaving the king, why the HELL would leaving her all alone help? And the duke's fickn line "as her father, how am i to face her?"
As her father? At all? With love? Respect? Curiosity and kindness? Figure out who she is and who the dark spirit king is? I mean they call the founding story a myth right, would't there be some discrepancy between what happens and what is told? I mean he's a bigger coward than any other.

I just can't. I will never sympathize with them.
The butler should just adopt them and the four of them should live out their days in a cottage.
I really just cannot deal with the parents, like they are ticking me off with how dumb they act.
Everyone, savor the chocolate milk while it lasts. We will be switching to white soon.
What happened to her dark skin??? Even in the other cover she's still just mildly tanned, but I guess it's better than being incredibly pale like before...
