A couple of TL notes...
This manga is about an older woman and a younger man. Not anything of particular note in most Western countries but it could be a topic of some storyline in the future here. The title page specifically mentions that she's "arase-" which means she's approaching thirty and it's usually a time for a Japanese career woman to start thinking more seriously about marriage and stuff...
1 bedroom here in the original Japanese is "1LDK" which stands for "1 bedroom, a living room, a kitchen, a dining room." So it's not an efficiency (usually one room that served as a multi-function room) but an apartment with discrete areas for those functions. It's a more "grown-up" place for people to live in.
