Palemoon user here.
Quick search works fine for me.
Advanced search does nothing when I click the search button. It doesn't matter which options I search for (manga/author etc) or how the tags are displayed, or even if I have tags selected or not. I've even disabled all my addons and there's no change. Clicking search, or just pressing enter, does nothing.

I don't have any specific suggestions, but you should check if you are running the current version of Palemoon, which is 28.4.1. Palemoon has diverged quite a bit from Firefox, and its developers have opted to omit support for some standards and functionality. You might want to post your issue on the Palemoon support forum, as well: https://forum.palemoon.org/ You could also try clearing your browser cache. That sometimes fixes search related issues in Firefox and other browsers.
