It's so odd how different the manga's chapter 1 is from the WN's chapter 1, for example in the WN the main focus was on the old sorcerer Gol and his antics with Linaria, with some bit of science on coffee making. Here though Gol is completely absent and Linaria got a cafe au lait.

Both are still good, they're just quite wildly divergent stories at this point.

I read in a Science book a long time ago (Not sure whether the contents are right though) that certain fruits have a certain defense mechanism to prevent animals from eating it. One it is taste.
The fruits have bitter or spicy taste, causing the animals to 'suffer' and avoid eating it in the future...

Yet, the bitter/spicy stuff like coffee or curry are the popular stuff to humans.
