The series has started really generic and kind of boring, but after the whole "Terrorist arc" (I'll just call it that, because the antagonist at time was a terrorist) it has gotten a lot more interesting. It used to only have the art going for it, but now the story is getting a lot better. I think having the main character being a clone or maybe twin, then it pretty much justifies his generic design, since it simplifies things.
