He's got a culinary diploma (I assume that's what "chef's license" means) and became a handyman?

Why didn't he just become a chef? There's probably more to it but this detail kinda broke the character for me.

I like how the manga chapters are short, but has alot of good feels to them.

The artist has done a good job in this.

@Darkion so it's better to be belittled as handyman? Something is definitely wrong with it. Maybe it's translation error, maybe chef's license is not what we think or author just had a brain fart. I can't imagine how skilled and licensed cook would have problems with getting a job...

It's funny how he decides not to be a chef out of concern for the hydras. Monsters have a place in the ecosystem too.

Just cause you have a chef's license doesn't guarantee you a job, much less open your own place and such. His knowledge of cooking eel just gives him an advantage in this world, but he may have been considered average by Earth's standards. Perfectly realistic imo
