So this is the guy that beat the Demon King after plowing though the front line and storming the castle with a small party. Because the manga is so garbage at doing fights there is absolutly no way this guy is the one who won after barely managing to deal with a single demon with three days of planning.

He has the best armor money can buy, a super sword and can use magic. If his experience was what pushed him though this fight then what the hell has been all the other ones?

Like 100% MC is demon lord. Whole time travel plan came about because he somehow accidentally killed his entire friends AND family (currently happening) only to be depressed about it when there was never any demon attack.

So he became the demon lord went into an alternative timeline but it doesn't have enough power to send him back BEFORE he killed all his famfrienly. So he can only send a portion of his soul back far enough resulting in a ghost version phantom of himself that tries to do the ritual again in the past (present) to empower the future full him to make a bigger leap back. However the past past (current) full version of himself that doesn't realize he's killed his entire famfrienly ends up repeating everything in a cyclical loop.

This definitely all makes perfect sense except the starting cause.
