I wish the author would focus on only one thing, instead of talking about many and never finishing then

I on the other hand couldn't be more happy to see him tackling various stories at once, but i would like if he stuck to telling Wukong's tale past and futere in a more orderly manner, as of now we are covering his beginnings, his journey to the west, and his present as a soul all at the same time.

I think he's doing the snippets this way since he assumes the readers have read the original Journey to the West. But for people who haven't it can be quite confusing.

I feel pretty bad for that girl. That is a crappy way to live.

3-4 PoV and some of them even have different a timeline. Fitting all that in a chapter creates a mess.
