so im interested in how the school are planned in ur country. in mine(india)we have a total of 12 grades with no separation like junior high, high or elementary. although we do have kindergarten(like preschool)
the school system in ur country?

We have 13 grades (If you count kindergarten as a grade) that are mandatory and we have separations like elementary, middles school, and high school. Pre-k is not mandemtory neither is college but they are both promoted and heavily implied that they should be gone to.

here in Argentina we have :
i dont know if counts but have :maternal kindergarten ( 0 to 3 years old ) it's not obligatory but it helps a lot to the parents who need to work
kindergarten ( 4, 5 )
primary school ( 6 to 12 ) secondary school we call it secondary or middle school (13 to 18 )

welp, that's the mandatory, but....

It's depending which one you'll take, you can skip pre-school, because its not your obligation to take your kids to pre-school, but ironically, most people on my country thought their kids need to go to pre-school before goin' to take their kids to Elemntary School.
If you skip pre-school it's 12 grades,13 if you're not skipping pre-school/kindergarten, and lastly if you choose Vocational High School it's 12 - 14, and even though you choose Vocational High School, it's depending on what is your Vocational, if you choose Industrial, usually it's 14 grades.
Although, College is just something you need to think.

In Finland, school starts in the same year you turn seven. The first nine grades are mandatory to all, they are separated into elementary school (grades 1-6) and middle school (grades 7-9). After middle school students can continue studying in secondary education; you can apply to a upper secondary school, which is pretty much like a high school or a trade school. Both typically last three years but can be extended or shortened if wanted. After graduating from a trade school or a upper secondary school you can apply into Finnish universities, universities of applied sciences (AMK) or go study abroad. A bachelor's degree is intended to be completed in three years and a master's degree in two years more.

In Thailand it's 9 years mandatory from "grade" 1 - 9, but 12 "based education", which is 3 years of preschool + "grade" 1 - 9.
The "actual" school years are divide between grade 1 - 6 of primary school ( about age 6 - 12) and grade 1 - 6 of secondary school (about age 12 - 18), but at the end of grade 3 of secondary school you can choose to go to other more career-focused school such as cadets or mechanicals, instead of continue on with high schools. Universities require you to finished your line of 6th school years,with some exceptions.

So, in Russia we have a mandatory basic general education which subdivides into kindergarten, 4 primary grades and 5 middle grades. After that you have some choice: quit and find a job, go to college or get 2 more grades of secondary general education. When you're done with college or high school, you can apply for university or a job, but by this time you're about 18 years old and The Problem rises up: the Army.
In Russia men of 18 to 27 years old are to be conscripted into the Russian Armed Forces for 1 year. You can delay the draft for the uni/college education period or avoid it due to bad health. Many people (me too) see conscription as a hindrance: you have to waste a whole year doing drills, forgetting what you learned and somtimes being subject to abuse by the "gramps" of the earlier drafts (there are 2 of them: the spring one and the autumn one).
Back to the education stuff. Russia's economy is not in a good state, not many families can afford enrolling their children into universities and the government needs educated specialists. So, the Ministry of Education provides "budget places" in universities for those who study good. Basically, if you take 70/100 in Russian, Math and discipline of your choice in the state exams, you're good to go, most local universities will accept you. Though big universtites, like Moscow State Uni or Bauman's MSTU, have really high demands and fierce competition, like 30 entrants per place. Also, you won't find budget places for specialties like economics or jurisprudence.

Well yeah that's true. Btw we Indonesians develop the grading system from a rough intermingle of colonial Dutch and colonial Japanese grading system, which is still used by them (the japs) until today. We haven't a hard time figuring out which class in the mangas equals which in ours therefore.
Reminds me of my former classmate who moved to France and suddenly reached a class or two above us... Dunno how he'll handle it right now since he's currently home.
