Best anime soundtrack?

Made this thread to discuss anime soundtracks (usually good animes = good soundtracks, in my pov, and I'm looking for good anime to watch during quarantine).
Personally the best I've heard are from Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood ("Lullaby of Resembool" kills me) and Naruto (especially "Sorrow and Sadness"), but I also like the intro of Inuyasha (I Am - Hitomi Yaida, I think) and the intro from History's Strongest Disciple Kenichi ("Be Strong").
Any other suggestions?

P.S. : Of course Nodame Cantabile is a treasure trove.....

Anything by Sawano is a jam, I can listen to that anytime.
Other than him, I love Hashimoto Yukari's work on 3-gatsu and Sarazanmai, her work really adds a lot to both of the series.
Every now and then I like listening to tracks from Violet Evergarden, Shoujo Shuumatsu Ryokou, Natsume's Book of Friends etc. as well.

Cowboy Bebop is timeless! Neon Evangelion, on the other hand, is one of the most confusing animes I ever saw...

Don't know FLCL so this will be the first to go....

Bleach.

Every OST is God Tier. Never meant to belong, especially the violin version. All the Espada soundtracks. On the Precipice of Defeat, Morning Remembrance, etc etc.
Shiro Sagisu is such a gem, he also did the soundtrack for Neon Genesis Evangleion.

Ko Otani's Haibane Renmei OST is great. I'll put it on every now and again as background music at night.

Almost every Gundam series has a very good soundtrack, despite having quite a bit of variety in style over time. Special call-outs to Zeta, CCA, 0083, Turn A and Unicorn's, although you'll probably find some solid songs in any installment of the franchise. Other mech series with good soundtracks, albeit more on the 80s side, are Gunbuster and Macross.

Aside from Turn A and Cowboy Bebop's soundtrack, Yoko Kanno's also known for being incredible math.

Watch REDLINE.

If you like Susumu Hirasawa's HAAAI YAAAI YOOOs from Berserk, check out the stuff he did for Paranoia Agent and Satoshi Kon's other movies. And if you ever wanted to know who all the girls from K-On are named after, check out his band P-Model as well.

Last but not least, while Escaflowne might not be as good as people say it is, the soundtrack far exceeds even the claims.

The best piece of anime OST for me is Kishi Ou no Hokori from the original Fate/stay night (2006). It sounds as if there is something melancholic behind it (given Saber's history) with a touch of medieval chivalry (I think?).

Catch Me If You Can , not an OP or an ED but soundtrack used multiple times in the anime kekkai sensen and kekkai sensen beyond. very jazzy.
p.s. kekkai sensen and Kekkai sensen and beyond have all around great soundtrack throughout both seasons , sugar song to bitter step is very addicting
all of samurai champloo (nujabes) ost are amazing especially if you’re a fans of hiphop (god-tier jazzhop),
I like Etsuko Yakushimaru’s music in general like venus to jesus in arakawa under the bridge.
all of penguindrum ost are amazing. just check out the playlists , or watch the first episode.
Space dandy - Viva Namida and Space Dandy Ending 1 - X Jigen e Youkoso - Etsuko Yakushimaru for disco dandy soundtracks.
Yojou-han Shinwa Taikai leaves much impact especially the last episode of tatami galaxy.

Gotta hand it over to Made in Abyss. So beautiful, simple and just ethereal. It makes me feel lonely, nostalgic and peaceful.
