Is there a way to follow a specific author/artist?

Like, for example authors who do mainly just one shots and not full blown series. I'd love to see whenever their new works get put up here on my feed but idk how/if that's possible to do if it's not a continuous series.
I just go and check up on the author's name every now and then, so it's not a huge deal just wondering if it was a thing.

edit: also lol idk why everyone so snotty in that thread. I read through everything in the planned sticky and didn't see anything that explicitly said to me "follow a specific author" in the list.
