Oh, so the parents even had an instruction manual for the UNSTOPPABLE KILLING MACHINEs detailing exactly what they could do and still... I mean horror logic and all that but if someone told me to take care of a nuclear bomb or a nerve gas bomb and gave me technical documents saying what it could do if it went off, I'm pretty sure I wouldn't smack it about to vent my frustrations.

I maintain that the nuclear/biological/chemical war that destroyed the world included the deployment of "stupid gas".
