After a while, you'll really be able to tell the origin of comics. This one is so different from the usual Japanese ones. The way he frames reminds me of comic books rather than Japanese comics. The focus on stillness, momentary imagery rather than movement also sets it apart from the usual Japanese comics. I think the artist is more of an illustrator rather than a comic artist. Also, if this is drawn by a Chinese, but the book is published in Japan, should we classify it as Chinese or Japanese?

It was originally published in Chinese, and then had a Japanese publication (like many JPN comics get translated into CHN and some into ENG). We used the JPN version raws but followed the CHN text for translation (there were some simplifications in the JPN script). (Looks like it was tagged JPN here, fixed it to CHN.)
