Good staff warning there. It's surprising just how few animals can take milk without consequence

As Skrit says it wont killl them, but it will give them an upset stomach.
if possible get hold of Lactose free milk [ there are also specially prepared milk drinks made for cats].

@Hollow7F nah it won't kill them but you shouldn't give it to them really. Not sure about kittens but cats are fine with water.

@Hollow7F like @derpdederp said, water is usually fine for adult cats. Young kittens (and human kids too, actually) have the lactase enzyme, which helps break down the lactose in milk, but as both cats and humans grow older, the lactase breaks down and eventually disappears (or only remains in trace amounts). So like derp said, while it won't kill them, adult cats are naturally lactose intolerant and it'll give them upset stomachs

I came over here to explain that cat's won't die just from drinking milk, only to find that a bunch of others already explained it.

As TehSDragon pointed out, it's nothing more than lactose intolerance, so they'll only get an upset stomach. However, they're actually perfectly fine with most dairy products and even many kinds of milk, they can drink goat or horse milk without any problems.

Thanks for the chapter!
Author wrong in milk killing cats. While kittens have the enzyme to digest milk, about 50% or more of adult cats lose it and become lactose intolerant. So while some cats can drink milk fine (should see vet to have a lactose tolerance test done before try,) the ones that can't can develop health problems from the undigested milk in stomach such as but not limited to diarrhea, stomach ache, gas, and cramps. Also, if cat can have milk it's better to go with an organic, lactose free, low fat, and low sugar type like 1% or skim. However, should always consult with a vet first just in case.

As for goblin quest the kids are probably going to one hit tko them even if have high class goblins like a Goblin King, Lord, Mage, or Knight. Especially since Syl mentioned the kids are the water gods children, although what happened to their mother, how did they end up in forest, and where did they grow up that they weren't named? Guess will have to read to find out.

@knicknac95 do not buy the cat milk, the cat milk is just expensive and also not really healthy if you want to give them milk you should give them the milk for humans who have lactose intolerance as well

Even if cats can drink lactose free and low fat/sugar milk there is no real advantage to give it to them, if ya cats like milk give them raw goat milk instead, that milk can be benefical for their health instead of just a treat ;) (and most cats i know fuuuu**n love it xD)

You shouldn't make cats drink milk? What was the point of my childhood spent on watching Tom and Jerry!?

To everyone commenting regarding the cat-killing milk... you are right.
Milk giving cats deadly diarrohea is actually extremely rare. Possible, but very rare.

The actual chapter note was quite different, but something went wrong somewhere, somehow.
"PR/N: Actually, no. Forget “The Aristocats”, giving milk to cats after weaning is going to give them bellyache and diarrohea, which can be fatal to very young cats. Before weaning, kittens have the enzyme to digest lactose, but they should drink their mother’s milk only."

What's the trick with this bullshit monetary system ??? You have 3 levels of currency with a 100 factor between them, ok, classic and all, but even a single fruit costs 10 units of the highest value token, AKA the gold coin. What's the point of having copper and even silver coins if the cheapest and most common daily necessity is already TEN GOLD ?! It also implies that gold is plentiful enough to be used as the main money token, which makes its value negligible. In such context it would be safe to assume that gold is seen as a non-precious metal and that silver should actually be more expensive and/or that there is a bunch of generic fantasy metals holding more value. All in all this kind of setting never makes sense because it implies that the rarity of "normal" precious metals is so low that it MUST be used in daily things, like tablewares and whatnot. This is because the mechanical properties of those metals make em highly sought after regardless of their rarity, thus if they are plentiful they must be used more often. Best examples would be silverwares that protect from "accidental" poisoning and have antibacterial properties. And gold is very easy to shape due to its high ductility so it would be used profusely for fine crafts.

I hate bullshit monetary systems, they are a source of neverending plot holes and just make the universe look cheap and the writing lazy.
