Since Kei is a semi-professional chef and barely sees Asuka as a girl, forget about as a potential love interest, he probably doesn't think much about sharing the drink. Kind of like: Let's snap this chocolate bar in half and share it. No big deal at all.

@Kaarme it's not so much the quantity of characters in this series as a combination of the quantity of series I follow plus the general difficulty of telling them apart, and between work and school and keeping up on everything else I don't really have the time to spare to go back an reread all 450 "chapters" as a refresher. I know they are mostly 1 page each, but that's still a lot of time especially since I have fairly crap internet most of the time which means I can only read ~5 chapters/pages per minute if I'm lucky, and sometimes that ratio switches to minutes per chapter/page if there's a lot of text and/or my bad internet goes into extra slow mode
