I have no idea who many of these characters are and what is going on, since this manga works the best when you're a history junkie. But at the same time, the story is interesting enough that I do enjoy reading it.

Also, I do recall it really was Mitsuhide who tried to assassinate Nobunaga, right? At least, from what I know of Japanese history.

Unfortunately, if you're a history junkie, you will cry. None of the Sengoku generals were this hot. This story takes place after the assassination of Nobunaga at Honnou-ji by Akechi Mitsuhide, we just didn't know why he did so. By this time, Nobunaga's rule is pretty much solid and he has pacified central Japan.

I have played the game that this Manga is coming from and it's nice to see it from this point of view. Keep it up. I can't wait till the next one.
