The "Seven Deadly Sins," a group of evil knights who conspired to overthrow the kingdom of Britannia, were said to have been eradicated by the Holy Knights, although some claim that they still live. Ten years later, the Holy Knights have staged a Coup d'état and captured the king, becoming the new, tyrannical rulers of the kingdom. Elizabeth, the king's third daughter, sets out on a journey to find the "Seven Deadly Sins," and to enlist their help in taking back the kingdom.

This manga unironically has one of the worst shonen garbage endings I've ever read.
"The rules are made up and the points don't matter.... because I'm making a new series!" Suzuki Nakaba, 2021
I understand the publisher was pushing Nakaba hard to continue the series but dont crash the series into the ground, force a hiatus, and then end it after people widely criticize your poor plot and pacing for months.
    can't wait for dragon's judgement
i just wanna ask when is the sequel release?
    Please update the missing chapters
i liked it not the ending but everything up untill the demon king is beaten and after that everything becomes confusing with the
apparently there will be a new one about melodias kid so hope it gets better
is the ending sucks? ...i mean, i wouldn't want to waste time for this if it is, sooo...
    Thank God it's over.

It started out cool but became a chaotic mess and JUST WOULDN'T DIE.

How can something based on Arthurian legend suck this badly?
It's like after FT ended, the Kondansha execs wanted this shit to continue until new blood rises, but the most important instruction was to continue it in such a convuluted way that it turns out worse than the final arcs of FT. And then that epilogue came... goodness me I didn't think anything would be more cringe than the Nardo epilogue but fuck me dead, here we are. Nakaba mate, I was bloody bowing down to you way back when, considered you a top tier new generation of mangaka. But buddy, you're a fucking hack.

I really wish they wouldn't do cliffhangers and longer chapters 😰
    Lancealot of the Lake
After finishing the series on another website I can only say that towards the end it got more and more repetitive with a ridiculous amount of "SIKE" moments that really got old after a while.
    there go my follows again
This manga is text book definition of dragged out.
I stopped at 311. It was at that point that I realized that the author was doing something absolutely stupid and going for an obvious, cliche twist that would ruin all the good that came before.

My advice: read up to chapter 310, read 310, minus the last 3 pages. You will save yourself from disappointment and have a wonderful ending page.
Things were already tettering due to pacing issues but that last arc was a dumpster fire. My advice to any new readers is get up to the like Ch 280 then drop it. There is some great stuff within those chapters even if its a little messy.

The side stories are unironically the best parts of this series.
Aight. Lemme get this straight and out of my chest:

    • Pros:
    - Most characters are interesting in some way, and have good development within the story.
    - The plot is actually quite good, and doesn't have loose ends or contradictions like most of the similar shounens.
    - For a battle heavy shounen, the characters and the scenery are well drawn, and it helps a lot in the beggining. Later it changes to a more generic art style, but still quite good.

    • Cons:
    - The unnecessary ecchi during the whole manga, but mainly in the beginning, is stupid. If you don't care, it's not a con, and at least it both has a reason and gets less frequent, but it makes the main female, a very bad character, and she doesn't get much better, sadly.
    - The pacing is TERRIBLE. The story is good, but how it's told... sadly, is not. If this manga had a better pacing, it would be WAAAAAAAY better.
    - Most of the fights are senseless, and full of DBZ syndrome. Forced powerups, cliché dialogues, and there's no outsmarting the enemy, there's only brute force. The most you get of a battle tactic, are gimmicks and Ban making some smart usage of his power.
    - The fight against the Demon Lord is "all the bad things about this manga, the arc".
    - Arthur deserved more.

Overall, it has more cons than pros, but don't get me wrong, I find it an actually good manga. It's just a shame that it could've been much, MUCH better if the author and/or the editor/manager (idk), were less focused on making it battle heavy, and let the story flow naturally. Sigh... a shame.

Personally, 8/10, I liked it quite a bit.
    Critically? Either 6 or 7/10.
Epilogue is a bit lacking for me.
Really unfortunate it went out like this.
Publishers want mangakas to keep pumping out chapters until the quality drops so much they axe it
