Kaito Odagiri is a normal fifth grade boy who can hold his own in a fight and loves to show off. This attracts the attention of Makoto Kaibara, a boy at Kaito's school who reveals to him that he can use magic, but he needs Kaito's help to protect the peace of their town. Kaito jumps at the chance of being a magic-wielding superhero, but his excitement turns to horror when he realizes that he'll be protecting the town dressed as a typical magical girl under the name Thrilling Pink. Although initially reluctant, Kaito soon discovers that there’s more to being a magical boy than simply looking cute in a skirt.

I give this diabetes and right in the feelings /10
isn't nearly as perverted as i was expecting, and that's great and disappointing @ the same time
Me, 10 hour ago: Meh, why not. At least the summary looks promisi... Wait, [Crossdressing]? [Shota]? What I'm getting into?

Me, after binging up to ch. 26: It a funny read, if at times a creepy one. While it adds to the funny, can't say that I dig the art style; and taking into account that they're underage boys in magical girl outfits that's probably for the best. However it's enjoyable.

Still, Red is a supreme troll. I'm sure that he just says that he's going for Pink just to mess with him. Same with Blue, Pink can't catch a break (not that he wants to).
There's only one "lad bible". It's "Bokura wa Mahou Shounen".
Third Glittery Gold arc is developing in the cutest way possible
The last arc with the Crystal Eight event reminds me of Kingdom Heart X Union Cross where you can aim to be in the top 5 with gathering enough stuff called Lux (where you can see scores up to 250 trillions).
You know even Hell has no idea what happened in Japan.
I didn't pick up this manga at first because I thought it was going to be your usualy generic edgy and boring mahou "shoujo" story. It's actually surprisingly pure and sweet instead, pretty good stuff.
Damn this could've been pretty funny, I can't deal with the art tho.
this author is so good.. he can make cartooney art fit in the manga format..
fresh af
I still can't get over the fact that the artstyle is so girly and adorable, but it's published in Ultra Jump, the same magazine as Jojo...
@gum_rummy i feel this. the art style just gives me those vibes
So nothing perverted happened in this series but something about it seems deeply impure.
This manga is alright I guess. But even though this is meant for a younger crowd, I'm a bit put off by the weird shapes of their heads and eyes.
6 months since the last update... has this been dropped by the scanlators or are there just no new chapters atm?
This is fantastic. What's the status on the scans?
Thanks for the recap. Yeah, this episode explained a lot. Seeing all those magical boys was fun.
@HerbMontes As is it explained in the episode, Makoto didn’t have any innate talent for being a magical boy, so he has to put a lot more effort than other people when trying to reach the same point as them. Kaito had talent as a magical boy, so he didn’t have to put effort to become one.
I'm wondering something since I read chapter 9. It took two years since Makoto put on the ring before he became a full magical boy. But then Kaito first put on the ring he became one immediately. What made Kaito so different that he he is a magical boy sooner than Makoto and without so much effort? Is this something that the author is going to address? Or a throwaway plot hole?
well written story for such a weird premise
