This is cute. Obviously a bit frustrating (specially around the middle part of the first "arc" ) but in general I found it very enjoyable. and Riho was a sleeper hit of a character for sure, I like her a lot.

Was considering picking this up to see if it would be any better than the anime. Doesn't sound like it.

Seriously, if you don't want the OP people of your village to interfere with the outside world, DON'T LET THEM LEAVE! If they are too stupid to understand why, or can't be trusted to not runaway on their own, kill them. You would be doing them, and yourselves, a favor.

The level of stupid is both infuriating, and heartbreaking. Stories like this should be about how far the MC can go, not about what lengths people will go to to hold him back.

The anime version skip too much ...

The Novel give most complete story and event, BUT the arrangement of story is weird / a bit mess up
(like it's not the best arrangement of story, or the author is don't have enough experience for it)

The Manga, The best one ...
IMO, in manga ver The story already arranged the best. I really suggest follow it instead Anime or Novel.
