"Melra wasn't as terrible a goddess as I had thought." Yeah, sure. Cults are always super nice and friendly at first, that's how they get their claws into people.

Every single time. Why can't characters leave on good terms vs leaving for a gallon of milk.

The Gods are always suspicious. I'd definitely need more accurate information before I'd decide to take on the so-called trial.

What happens if I fail? What rules apply to the wish? Can I wish for knowledge, with the guarantee it's truthful? Am I bound to you after accepting the trial? Are the wishes absolute? Are you allowed to reject a wish that is within your power?

I wish to know how to kill the Gods. I wish to know how you become a God.

Where are the other Gods why does it seem you all aren't doing anything.

@ciera Well, it's probably more that the gods likely do have the ability to guide the outcomes of these things but simply choose not to or don't even care enough to. Not that that's really something to hold against them either you could say, they're not human. It'd be like being mad at a cat for acting like a cat. But being mad at a cat for behaving like one is pretty human in its own way, too.

What’s with all the hate for Melra? I can understand everyone having a justice boner and disliking what her followers are doing but from Melra’s perspective it would be against her principle to reproach her followers for their unjust actions. This is a world where the gods allowed humanity to be driven to the brink of extinction, if Melra had the ability to guide the outcome of humanity’s destiny at her own discretion she surely would have done so in the previous timeline.

The goddess is basicaly an entitled mother. And humans are entitled kids, beating the classmates while saying that they deserve.

Then entitled mother says to the school director: "But my baby boys were just playing, they DID NOTHING WRONG"
Avatar
Of course the shitty Melra worshippers are acting again...

This is sad. It was so much better when there were no gods, and noone knew about his secret. And now its getting worse.

@GuildMasterJin I had a similar idea. What if it was to: fall in love, marry, or have a kid? It would be hilarious, and awkward, if her son was related to her regretted/stupid wish.

this fkn garbage manga

Ah yes, 10/10 writing as always by the author. Obviously you wouldn't say you're leaving to the people you've been traveling with for a while. A few minutes for a few words for the people you're never seeing again in your life? No, too much of a hassle. You've got places to be, people to meet, with the author writing garbage plot devices in the backseat.

reading this is so dumb. but i will still read it

Another story pushed forward by people inability to talk about things openly with one another. Communication is important people. ALWAYS talk to others before making decisions like this. How many times have we seen someone leave a group without understanding the group will follow them wherever they go anyway.
Avatar
Plot twist: the necklace is just a gift to go along with the invitation and it's only a coincidence that it's the same as the elf's (they're mass produced). Elf girl got away just fine.

Get rekt, best girl is going to win
