First, didn't mean to turn this into an argument, I'm sorry.

Certainly, they would; here's a poll that asked if one would switch one's gender for a year if one could. 50% of females said “yes”, and 46% of males did so too, and this s without the added guarantee of “You will be super attractive when you do so.”; here is another one with a “maybe” option that asks for permanently, fewer responses, but again, 40% says “yes”, and 30% say “no” and “maybe”, what you call “absurdity” is reality.

So, your polls prove nothing, internet polls will have more open minded people take them, and those are for "a year" or "at will" (2nd one is basically a superpower), and even if they favored your opinion, those polls have less than 50 people take them, so this would prove nothing. And since you're the one making wild claims, I'm not required to give you sources, as I'm sure you know.

Certainly they would — any takers?.

Okay, that's 4chan, one of the websites with the biggest Transgender pools, you can't seriously believe this means anything ?

If it be an indisputable fact, you should source it — because I have an interesting statistic for you: 84% of all World of WarCraft players is male, but only 58% of all played characters is.

Even in the absolute best case scenario that all female players play a female character, that still means that 31% of male players play a female character. Of course, that number is going to be even higher, because male females are playing a male character, In the hypothetical case that half of female players play a male character, it's 41% of males that play a female character.

So repeatedly, what you call “indisputable facts” and don't back up with sources are primā faciē almost certainly false, looking at polls and statistics.

For this one, I'm the one who made a claim, your 2nd link has no sources btw. Here's my actual source; https://www.ign.com/articles/2010/09/06/crazy-mass-effect-2-stats-and-what-theyre-used-for

No, most people would not want to switch gender if that meant being more attractive, that's absurd.

And yes, a good percentage of people would play around with it for a day or two, but after that they'll move on, most highschool boys definitely wouldn't be interested in playing dress-up as the other gender, and probably wouldn't do it even if they were.

That's not what I meant my bad, obviously female protag games will still get played, but when given a choice between a male or female char, the majority will stick to their gender, that's an indisputable fact.

@kajarainbow Not all, but the majority of people would rather be a very attractive member of the opposite sex than an average one of their current sex.
And give pretty much any teenager a button wherewith he could turn into an attractive member of the opposite sex, and back when he pleases, and he'll liberally use it to have fun: first order of business is masturbation as the opposite sex, of course.

The idea that it's not a very normal, and to be expected thing for Minami, and pretty much any teenage boy to liberally want to use this button and want to try dressing up is a præposterous one. I can remember when we were 7 years old in class there was a school festival and the teachers cross-dressed the entire class and all the kids thought it was super fun and exciting and went off to show their parents with “look, mummy, I'm a boy/girl now!”.

@SPARTAN-141 “good percentage” being less than 1%? If that were the case they would never make games like Tomb Raider and have them sell so much.
Avatar
@kajarainbow To add to this, there's even a good percentage of male gamers that refuse to play female characters.
Avatar
ooof, that would smart. When i went through puberty I had more that few doors slam my breasts and it was annoying.
Avatar
I've seen people discuss this very thing. Not all of them are up for it.

God Minami is the definition of a transparent egg.
Avatar
@kajarainbow How could you possibly know? It's not like it ever happened to anyone, forget it happening to enough people to draw a decisive conclusion from.
Avatar
@Walter_vi_Britannia Actually, that isn't quite as common a mindset as you think.
Avatar
@lil_puddin_cups Come on, if anybody had the ability to freely transform into the opposite gender and be actually good looking as that...I don't think there's anybody who wouldn't be utilizing that to it's full extent unless that person is a sexist.

Damn I wanna install those airbags in my car so badly

"Florida man crashes immediately after installing erotic airbags."
"Latest in series of incidents involving manufacturer. Denies defects and relation."

minami is so fucking trans like jfc

but considering how light hearted this series is, i really doubt minami's gender will ever be broached in a serious way -_-

@SmallTinyNeedles probably does the same thing a chest binder does
Avatar
I like how it got resolved the misunderstanding but once again ZERO fucking progress lmao
Avatar
Also, sensitivity will vary from person to person.
Avatar
It makes sense, it's a big jumble of nerves all getting squished violently at once. That's probably gonna hurt.
Avatar
Getting hit in the chest does hurt more when you have boobs. And, yes, I do have the comparative experience to know. (I went from having no boobs to having them, thanks to HRT.)

That said, it isn't super painful or anything.
Avatar
@SmallTinyNeedles I dunno, I have some, they'd definitely not bounce someone off, and it would still hurt getting smacked, but honestly I think it would probably hurt less than just having your close to bone chest smacked.

That said I've never had someone ram into mine... and also they're not so large that someone couldn't get in the middle still, but something sufficiently wide might get partially airbagged.

I definitely wouldn't guess more, though who knows, some might be more sensitive than others.
