Ch. 9.1

His age isn't merely in the hundreds, it's at least 1000, and probably now more like several thousands of years.

I always enjoy the classic fantasy world is a post apocalyptic modern world trope. This is making me wanna reread some fantasy books.
Avatar
If I remember correctly from a previous chapter, he's been around for hundreds if not a thousand years.

Don't die imp-kun

Also the more chapters I read the less isekai it gets, but more SMT instead

@ZeroWWE
Sparing a murderous enemy simply because they’re cute is... I dunno. Wrong, for many reasons.

@Talismaster but still, its a cute pixie he can freeze her and let Link have her (@_@)

@halloween20

is there something missing?

after ch 8.4, this one makes no sence ?

where is this
when is this
why is this

It's in reality.
Every chapters before this one was fictional, this one is set in reality.
Look, it says so in the disclaimer on the first page.
"This manga is a work of reality. Every mention to real people, groups, or facts is purely intentional"

Looking awfully SMT in here.

@ZeroWWE
Uhh, because she’s less pacifistic than the imp?
Avatar
@GurenNoOu I did not deny that, thanks for the take though.

@gaigous That's the MC from the past. He was also shown at the start of chapter 1.
And the reason why he currently looks different is probably because he changed his appearance, after all Ekidona doesn't know that he was the hero.
Avatar
That poor pixie. That poor troll.
Avatar
@dreand This seems very much to be a flashback, so I'd say nah it's just a pretty impromptu one but not something that needed anything else before it.

But who knows, it's possible.
Avatar
did we miss one chapter?

@Abel for some reason, I doubt that. He seems to be hundreds of years old at this point, seeing how he phrased his statement: "...so humans still remember... is he still alive?" It makes it seem that he knows Belial personally and not that he is suddenly informed that Belial exists. It also in the same vein implies he is centuries old himself and he knew Belial from way back.

This thought raises a different, but just as likely scenario: Belial, the demon lord is the first person he talked to. Only thing I'm hung up on is how such a thing is possible. He had to have grown up and learned from someone. Is there a world level system that incarnates heroes and demon kings and bestows upon them knowledge? This universe might be interesting if a Fate style system were at play.

Damn, I like the fact he didn't discriminate when killing the pixie. Another true advocate for gender equality.
Avatar
why hero just why you kill the cute pixie!! @_@

In chapter 7.3 page 4 he says that his first real conversation was him asking questions and listening to what the speaker had to say, and is depicted as between him and an imp.

This very well could be the first thing he's spoken too.

@halloween20

it's going into the mc's past
Avatar
it's his days on 'Future past' or futuristic past, he has lived for a long time
