Vol. 2 Ch. 6
Avatar
@Insignificant it is NTR, or else i would use cheating.
NTR is when the protagonist's loved one are taken or seduced away from him to cause an emotion of deep jealousy
They are in relationship or not. It's used for that same specific reason

Too many NTR

@Tcof they are not dating anymore. So why it is NTR?

@Anomander The more i thought about it, the less i know for what reasons Amane would break up. She still thinking that Amane is cuter but like you said it hardly count and i know everybody think that Camera-senpai is for something but back at the beach Nene just found that Amane talk about their relation to the senpai so i'm less sure she is for something, at least for the break-up because right now she is manipulative.
Avatar
@Lilliwyt I feel if Nene really thought Amane was dragging her down, she'd be directing soem genuine malice towards her. But by what we've seen so far she seems to still consider them friends, despite some personality clashes. She does seem to have some hangup about how Amane looks compared to her, but that alone hardly seems enough reason for the breakup.

@Anomander
Nene: we don't yet know about why she broke up with Amane. Her problem is exactly that, not being clear about her reasons, which leaves Amane to her inbetween state. If her affection for Tarumizu is genuine, good for her, if she's doing it to widen the gap between herself and Amane, well...

I'm wondering if it's not because she want to be model and think Amane will only drag her down. It's just my two cents but she had always speak about how she want to be a model someday and care about if she's cute.
Also she don't seem to be honest about the break-up and several things she said made me think she is not over Amane like how she as Taru if she's cuter than Amane or saying to Taru she better use a pick of Amane for the contest instead of her. I'm really conflicted between TaruxNene and NenexAmane since both had valid arguments : Nene seem to be happier when she is with Taru but in the mean time she seem to still think about how Amane is cuter than her.
In the end i think that Taru will enter the contest with the popsicle shot because even if she seem close to Nene, she still want the both of her to get along.

I know we all expected it, but there it came. The Big Ooof.

Looking forward to the next chapter!

Well this is one way to boost up my cigarette addiction, I really feel like I fucked up picking this one from the beginning instead of rushing throught it once it was finished.

Anyway, I can't really bring myself to hate on Kou, she seems like the only good person along Amane in this whole thing, it actually really remembers me of my time in high school when a friend of mine got himself in a really similar situation. Luckily for me, I just vicariously watched how the thing went instead of getting involved with it, which is basically the same feeling that I get from reading this. Anyway, the levels of anxiety this thing gives me is definetely not good for my lungs.

Well as of this chapter each of the characters has a problem, big or small.

Tarumizu, the MC: she's being taken for a ride by Nene. With her knowing about stuff between Nene and Amane, her problem is not asking why this is happening. Otherwise she's done nothing wrong.

Nene: we don't yet know about why she broke up with Amane. Her problem is exactly that, not being clear about her reasons, which leaves Amane to her inbetween state. If her affection for Tarumizu is genuine, good for her, if she's doing it to widen the gap between herself and Amane, well...

Amane: the most obvious one. Her problem is how she can't let go of Nene and can't decide what her relationship with her is. This leaves her in a perpetually unhappy state and open for...

Hayama: her problem is that she's a manipulative psychopath. She might have had a chance with Amane if she went about it normally, but she doesn't care about her feelings ("cry more") and only wants to possess her. Other people she sees as tools to hit Amane with. With the author hiding us details of the breakup still, it is a credible theory that Hayama caused it somehow. In short, she's a danger to everyone around her.

something smells like ntr fishy about nenexamane breakup

@RagnMunkeez Also Taru is not trying to keep Nene for herself. Like i said before, it's Taru who talk about the date to Amane, she is the one asking for another 3 people date and back to chapter 2, she said she don't want the two of them to fight. Taru is innocent, yes she hold hands in the end but it's mostly because she doesn't want to make Nene sad.
Avatar
Well that twist didn't surprise anyone. Amane would have found out sooner or later since Nene doesn't seem to bother hiding it much, but Hayama's an utter twat for dropping it on her lap like that and trying to manipulate her.

I can't hardly blame Taru for what happen, she's the one who said to Amane about the date, knowing she will come and here again she said they can go all 3 on a date. It's not like she is intentionnaly trying to steal Amane. Reason for break-up is very unclear, like Amane said you can't go stop loving someone in one day but Nene did agree with being friends and still go to the same high school. It's not like she really hate Amane, she just doesn't feel love for her.

In the end, i'm still conflicted with how it should end, i like KouxNene but i'm not really against NenexAmane going back together, especially with Taru who really want the 3 of them being friends.

I hope this grinch won't be forgiven in the end, like it always happens with this kind of characters in manga.

Agree with Munkeez on this. Taru and Nene did nothing wrong.
