Ch. 51 - SCP-073

Wonder was there an incident where he met Abel

As many have already pointed out the Cain and Abel reference between SCP 73 and 76, I'd also like to point out an interesting point that Cain was the one who murdered Abel in cold blood. And Abel was described as one who had favor with God. If SCP 76 aka Able, is as powerful as they describe him ... I wonder how Cain would be able to kill him. Does it have anything to do with his power of destroying anything that is grown or from the soil? I'm thinking it's most likely his damage reflecting abilities. With SCP 76's destructive capabilities, but still having a body that can be harmed and killed, any attack done against SCP 73 will be reflected back and result in SCP76's death. It's interesting to see though that since Cain was the one who murdered Abel in the bible, but the roles seem to have reversed through these two.

Another interesting fact, Cain was a farmer and he specialized in produce that came from the soil, but God didn't take favor over Cain's sacrifice, and took favor over Abel's sacrifice. It's interesting that SCP 73 seems to have powers that destroy anything grown from the soil, almost as if he's bitter or he's cursed.

Is that shovel attack a jojo reference?

Minor error on page 2: It should be "shrivel" not "shiver".

I'm surprised that Cain didn't erase the SCP foundation with the Dragu slave. He must need further training, or maybe he was on his period...Cain's a woman ?!~

If he goes to the cafeteria, it'll rot tho.

SCP-076 is the virtually unstoppable berserker dude who upon death resurrects in a big obelisk-like thing. Heavily implied to be the sibling of SCP-073 and the biblical Abel who was slain by Cain. Cain in the bible was cursed to be a "with the mark of a fugitive and a wanderer" and for all of his attempts to grow or maintain farmland to fail. Somewhat similar to this dude.

@heroeric

I just realized that scp-073 is implied to be the biblical "Cain", while scp-076 is codenamed "Able" as in "Abel"

Pretty much anything with free will automatically gets bumped up to Euclid. Whether or not they can wander the facility depends on their behaviour.
Avatar
@xyzzy You can't lock him in a box and forget about him.

He still needs basic amenities, he just can't be around plant based stuff, and he still needs to eat.

Also Euclid doesn't refer to danger level but difficulty in containing an SCP.
Avatar
Damn Cain God didn't show you any mercy and I still don't trust the dude.
Avatar
I'm surprised they would let a Euclid fully roam the facility, especially one heavily implied to be the Biblical Cain. Guess that's early SCP entries for you.
