Thank you for the chapter!

@goodhunter

You act as though Takumi won't make an effort to raise them to be responsible kids. Sure, he's almost always going to indulge them, but he's also going to instill proper values into them.
And gosh darn it, they're going to be cute all the way through.

It's a leviatan not water dragon

@flannan imagine there being spoilers for the manga. It just goes to show that no matter how deep you go, there will always be someone that's gone deeper lol..

is syl is the papa?

@Kyto1984 He might have been 28 when he was killed originally, but the new body that Syl made him is only 20 according to the status screen in chapter 1.

I just love how Takumi is drawn with a slightly disinterested face. It's like 'okay I'll make do with what I'm given', but he's just too OP.

All that seafood looks soooo good T_T

Thanks for another chapter!! <3

You see that Takumi? That's why you have to cancel your trials before the final date.

So, it's finally time for the MC to .

@Tych - well, if you're looking to make a career, a god's retainer is one of the best posts you can get. You're probably at least as important as a king or a pope.
And you have a chance to be promoted to full god if there is a vacancy.
If you want to just laze around occasionally hunting monsters, it's not the best position. Gods usually expect you to do most of their work. Still, many retainers, especially the ones in charge of combat, aren't doing anything unless there is an emergency, so it's fine too.
But the best part is the perks of the job. The job comes with a quite strong version of immortality, and you get awesome powers (unless you already have awesome powers).

The important part to look out for, is what god made you his retainer. Most gods only give this position to people they have a good relationship with, and keep a good relationship. But if you're working with a god who is a bad boss, it's going to suck. And you're so immortal you can't even commit suicide.
You're also likely to be involved in all conflicts that involve your god. Well, most of the time, mortals can't evade them either, but you'll be getting a big target on your back, like being a minister of something as opposed to commoner.

I'm just saying, these kids are going to be spoiled as shit. If they don't end up spoiled brats, then they have to be the most angelic kids ever.

Forget feeling lonely I'd be furious if their "father" showed up and tried to take them away

He doesnt know temp means temporary... and hes looking younger and younger every chapter

@Hoezell The place where the hammers go AHHHHH/NANNII?!!

yeah, it depend on who the god/goddess is. Asides from benefits which other already mentioned there is also their attitude. I am not talking about their clumsiness/airheaded(can still live with it) (example:Damegami) but the asshole kind(example:Death Mage)
Avatar
@Tych A Goobad thing :x

Okay jokes aside, iirc (about the 'system' in this series) its a "good" thing if you count benefits. Its a "bad" thing if you are lazy af to do things for Gods.

@Doomer You are right. but Gun Ota made my neck standards drop so much i'm happy they even have a neck.

This story is boring but cute. followed :p

@Tych can be both.

@Tych
Depends on the God
Look at Konosuba for its downs
Look at Campfire Cooking/Tondemo Skill manga for its many ups

um odd question is being the retainer to a god a good thing or bad thing?

This goddess was very cheerful. I think like her behavior and as party drinking acquaintance
